Adopt Anna Raccoon’s Pet Labour Troll

Putting the Pet Labour Troll on your own website couldn’t be easier. You don’t have to register for anything, and there is only one line of code you have to add.

The Pet Labour Troll comes in two varieties: a larger “Chat Module” that lets you talk back to the robot, and a smaller “Sidebar Module” that fits in narrow columns like your sidebar. Use the code for whichever module you desire. (Use both if you want, that would be fine.)

The “Chat Module”

The Chat Module (seen above) lets the user input text, to which the robot replies, and keeps a running scrollable text box of the conversation. There are also options the user can define, to control the robot’s behaviour. Its dimensions are 360 pixels wide by 210 pixels high. The line of HTML to make it appear on your site is this:

The “Sidebar Module”

The Sidebar Module (seen at right) is smaller, and has no options, and no way to input text. What it has is a “Rant” button, which causes the robot to generate one rant at a time. If the module sits idle with no user interaction for a minute or two, it will get tired of waiting and rant anyway. Its dimensions are 150 pixels wide by 240 pixels high.
